ঢাকার বাংলা একাডেমি প্রাঙ্গণ ও সোহরাওয়ার্দী উদ্যান এলাকাজুড়ে আয়োজিত অমর একুশে বইমেলা ২০২৬ বইপ্রেমীদের ব্যাপক আগ্রহের মধ্য দিয়ে চলছে। প্রতিবছরের মতো এবারও দেশের প্রকাশনা শিল্প, সাহিত্যচর্চা ও পাঠাভ্যাসকে উৎসাহিত করার লক্ষ্যে এই মেলার আয়োজন করা হয়েছে। চলতি বছর মেলাটি ২৫ ফেব্রুয়ারি ২০২৬ থেকে ১৫ মার্চ ২০২৬ পর্যন্ত চলবে। আয়োজকদের তথ্যমতে, এবারের বইমেলায় প্রায় ৫৪৯টি প্রকাশনা প্রতিষ্ঠান অংশগ্রহণ করেছে এবং প্রতিদিন অসংখ্য পাঠক, লেখক ও সাহিত্যপ্রেমীর পদচারণায় মুখর হয়ে উঠছে মেলার প্রাঙ্গণ।
মেলার সময়সূচি অনুযায়ী সাধারণ দিনগুলোতে বইমেলা দুপুর ২টা থেকে রাত ৯টা পর্যন্ত খোলা থাকে। ছুটির দিনগুলোতে সকাল ১১টা থেকে রাত ৯টা পর্যন্ত দর্শনার্থীরা মেলায় প্রবেশ করতে পারেন। শুক্রবার দুপুর ১টা থেকে ৩টা পর্যন্ত এবং শনিবার দুপুর ১টা থেকে ২টা পর্যন্ত মধ্যাহ্ন বিরতি থাকে। নিরাপত্তা ও শৃঙ্খলার স্বার্থে প্রতিদিন রাত ৮টা ৩০ মিনিটের পর নতুন করে দর্শনার্থীদের প্রবেশ বন্ধ করা হয়।
এবারের বইমেলায় অংশ নিয়েছে দাঁড়িকমা প্রকাশনী। প্রকাশনীর স্টল নম্বর ৮৯৭–৮৯৮-এ প্রদর্শিত ও বিক্রয়ের জন্য রয়েছে ‘জ্ঞানের জগৎ’ নামের একটি আলোচিত গ্রন্থ, যার লেখক তৌফিক সুলতান। বইটি মূলত জ্ঞানচর্চা, পড়াশোনার কার্যকর পদ্ধতি এবং ব্যক্তিগত দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন বিষয়ক একটি প্রেরণামূলক ও ব্যবহারিক দিকনির্দেশনামূলক গ্রন্থ। এতে স্মৃতিশক্তি বৃদ্ধি, মনোযোগ বাড়ানোর উপায়, তথ্য যাচাইয়ের সচেতনতা, বৈজ্ঞানিক পড়াশোনা কৌশল এবং অর্জিত জ্ঞানকে বাস্তব জীবনে প্রয়োগের নানা দিক তুলে ধরা হয়েছে।

লেখক তৌফিক সুলতান (প্রকৃত নাম মোঃ তৌফিক হোসাইন) ১৯৯৯ সালের ৪ ফেব্রুয়ারি গাজীপুর জেলার কাপাসিয়া উপজেলার বারিষাব গ্রামে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। তিনি বর্তমানে ব্রেভ জুবিল্যান্ট স্কলার্স অব মনোহরদী মডেল কলেজ-এ প্রভাষক হিসেবে কর্মরত। পাশাপাশি তিনি ওয়েলফশন মানবকল্যাণ সংঘ-এর প্রধান নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা (সিইও) হিসেবে সামাজিক উন্নয়নমূলক কার্যক্রমে যুক্ত রয়েছেন। এছাড়া তিনি বিকা ইংলিশ ল্যাঙ্গুয়েজ ক্লাব অ্যান্ড স্টাডি সেন্টার-এর প্রেসিডেন্সিয়াল সদস্য হিসেবেও দায়িত্ব পালন করছেন। সাহিত্যচর্চার পাশাপাশি তিনি দেশের বিভিন্ন জাতীয় দৈনিক পত্রিকা, অনলাইন সংবাদমাধ্যম এবং টেলিভিশন প্ল্যাটফর্মে নিয়মিত ফিচার, নিবন্ধ, মতামত ও শিক্ষামূলক লেখা প্রকাশ করে থাকেন।
আগামীকাল ১১ মার্চ ২০২৬ (মঙ্গলবার) বিকেল ৩টায় লেখক তৌফিক সুলতান দাঁড়িকমা প্রকাশনীর স্টল নম্বর ৮৯৭–৮৯৮-এ উপস্থিত থাকবেন। এ সময় পাঠকরা তাঁর সঙ্গে সরাসরি সাক্ষাৎ, বই নিয়ে আলোচনা, স্বাক্ষর গ্রহণ এবং স্মৃতিচারণমূলক ছবি তোলার সুযোগ পাবেন বলে জানা গেছে।

The Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2026, organized at the premises of the Bangla Academy and the surrounding area of Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka, is continuing with great enthusiasm among book lovers. Like every year, the fair aims to promote the country’s publishing industry, literary activities, and reading culture. This year, the fair began on February 25, 2026, and will continue until March 15, 2026. According to the organizers, around 549 publishing houses are participating in the event, attracting thousands of readers, writers, and literature enthusiasts every day.
According to the official schedule, the book fair remains open from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM on regular days, while on holidays visitors can enter from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. There is a midday break on Fridays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Saturdays from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. For security and crowd management reasons, new visitors are not allowed to enter the fair premises after 8:30 PM.
Among the participating publishers this year is Darikoma Prokashoni, where the book The World of Knowledge (Bangla: Gyaner Jagat) by Towfiq Sultan is being displayed and sold at stall numbers 897–898. Author Towfiq Sultan (real name Md. Towfiq Hossain) was born on February 4, 1999, in Barishab village of Kapasia Upazila in Gazipur District, Bangladesh. He currently serves as a Lecturer at Brave Jubilant Scholars of Monohardi Model College (BJSM Model College). In addition, he works as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Welfaretion Human Welfare Association, contributing to various social development initiatives. He is also a Presidential Member of Bika English Language Club and Study Center.
Alongside his professional career, Towfiq Sultan actively writes for several national newspapers, online news portals, and television platforms. His writings—including features, opinion pieces, educational articles, and columns—have been published in numerous national and international media outlets.
